منن فرج
بدأت منن رحلتها كعاملة في مجال التنمية عام ٢٠٠٨ حيث اشتغلت على قضايا متنوعة مثل التثقيف السياسي وإدارة حملات المناصرة وتمكين المرأة والقروض متناهية الصغر والتنمية عن طريق الفن ولكنها تخصصت بشكل رئيسي في السنوات الأخيرة في مجال تنمية الشباب والمشاركة المجتمعية والتعليم المدني وتعمل حاليا كمسئولة برامج بوحدة التعليم المدني في المعهد الدنماركي المصري للحوار. حصلت منن على درجة الماجستير في دراسات التنمية من جامعة ساسكس بالمملكة المتحدة مع التركيز على مفاهيم المشاركة وعلاقات القوى والتغيير المجتمعي بالإضافة إلى دبلومة في إدارة منظمات المجتمع المدني من جامعة القاهرة وشهادة إدارة المشروعات للمحترفين.
خلال رحلتها في عالم التنمية تقلدت منن عدة مناصب إدارية وتنفيذية مختلفة مثل الأمين العام لجمعية أهلية شاركت منن في تأسيسها وتهدف لتبني ودعم المبادرات الشبابية التنموية تحت اسم “مصرنا”، كما أدارت عددا من المشروعات التنموية الرائدة مثل أتوبيس الحرية، برنامج التعليم من أجل المشاركة، ١٠٠ يوم من التطوع، دورة التثقيف السياسي بمكتبة الإسكندرية، وأكاديمية لازورد للريادة المجتمعية في الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة. من خلال عملها في مجال تمكين الشباب تؤمن منن بمنهاجيات التيسير التشاركية غير الرسمية القائمة على أساليب غير تقليدية مثل الفن واللعب والأنشطة الإبداعية.
.شاركت منن في العديد من المؤتمرات الدولية والمحلية التي تركز على قضايا المشاركة المجتمعية وألقت العديد من المحاضرات في الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة، جامعة كيبيك في مونتريال، كندا وجامعة برلين الحرة
Kicking off her career in the field of International Development in 2008, Menan has accumulated 10 years of professional and voluntary experience; covering several themes, such as Youth Participation, Women Empowerment, Intercultural Dialogue, Advocacy and Human Rights. Specializing in Adults Learning and Civic Education, Menan acquired her MA degree on Participation, Power and Social Change from the Institute of Development Studies at Sussex University, focusing on “Reflective learning methods” as a tool of social change.
Throughout her journey, Menan assumed various professional roles, such as, Project Manager, Regional Network Coordinator, and NGO Secretary General, which gave her in depth experience at Projects and Networks Management. This experience was accumulated through working on a diverse set of projects that differ in scope and focus, such as Freedom bus, Civic Education for Participation, Ma’an Network for Arab Universities for Civic Engagement, Lazord Academy for Civic Leadership and Human Rights Young Advocates, among others. This experience was further enhanced by a post-graduate diploma in Non-Profit Management from Cairo University, as well as a diploma in Project Management from RITI.
DEDI (Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute)
The Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute (DEDI) is an intergovernmental body funded by the Danish Arab Partnership Programme (DAPP). DEDI was established in 2004 and the core task of the Institute is to promote political, social, and cultural understanding between Denmark and Egypt and Europe and the Arab World, with dialogue as the main tool. With its diverse portfolio of projects within its three priority areas: civic engagement, arts and culture, and media; it works towards engaging a wide and continuously expanding group of partners representing governmental and civil society institutions in accordance with its Principles of engagement. DEDI’s comparative advantages lies in its dialogue competence and its intergovernmental status, which allows for a broad scope of governmental and civil society partnerships to be brought together.
