has been heading the Political Programme at the Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute in Cairo for the past two years, an inter-governmental dialogue facilitating long-term partnerships between Egyptian and Arab organizations on one side and Danish and European organizations on the other side. She is managing a diverse portfolio of projects promoting women’s empowerment and gender equality, citizenship education and youth empowerment, and multi-party dialogue platforms. Earlier in her career, she worked for several UN agencies, such as the ILO and UNDP, in the field of development as a programme staff. Arram earned both her Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the American University in Cairo in 2009 and 2004 respectively with highest honours.

ترأس البرنامج السياسي في معهد الحوار الدنماركي المصري بالقاهرة خلال العامين الماضيين، وهو حوار حكومي دولي يسهل الشراكات طويلة الأمد بين المنظمات المصرية والعربية من جهة والمنظمات الدنماركية والأوروبية على الجانب الآخر. وهي تدير مجموعة متنوعة من المشاريع التي تعزز تمكين المرأة والمساواة بين الجنسين، وتعليم المواطنة وتمكين الشباب ، ومنصات الحوار المتعددة الأحزاب. وفي وقت سابق من حياتها المهنية، عملت في العديد من وكالات الأمم المتحدة، مثل منظمة العمل الدولية وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي، في مجال التنمية كموظفين في البرنامج. حصلت أرام على درجة الماجستير في الآداب وبكالوريوس الآداب في العلوم السياسية من الجامعة الأمريكية في القاهرة في عامي 2004 و2009 على التوالي مع مرتبة الشرف الأولى.
DEDI (Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute)
The Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute (DEDI) is an intergovernmental body funded by the Danish Arab Partnership Programme (DAPP). DEDI was established in 2004 and the core task of the Institute is to promote political, social, and cultural understanding between Denmark and Egypt and Europe and the Arab World, with dialogue as the main tool. With its diverse portfolio of projects within its three priority areas: civic engagement, arts and culture, and media; it works towards engaging a wide and continuously expanding group of partners representing governmental and civil society institutions in accordance with its Principles of engagement.
